Archer Meadowbrook Preserve
One mile southeast from the center of town, the Archer Meadowbrook Preserve consists of woods and wetlands located over one of the town’s main aquifers. River Meadow Brook and the twenty-one acres of the Chelmsford East Water District form the eastern boundary of the property. Putnam brook winds through the property from west to east in a dredged channel and empties into River meadow Brook on the property’s southern boundary. The River Meadow Brook links the Archer Meadowbrook Preserve with the hundreds of acres of open space along beaver Brook to the north and large conservation Commission lands to the south.
Visit Archer Meadowbrook to enjoy acres of wetlands and Skunk Island.
